Trend Thursday

As I am still figuring out ways to create my blog, I have come up with some new ideas to do on certain days of the week. Therefore, Thursdays will now be new and exciting trends that I have spotted and been inspired by. Hopefully you too will be inspired by the looks and designs that I have come across. 

For this particular Thursday, I have decided to focus my current trend on: 

nude nails.

This look is ultra chic especially for the summer months. This color can easily transition into Fall because the great thing about it is, it goes with e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. When you have nude nails, you can easily go overboard with jewelry and bold prints like the picture above demonstrates. This way, you are not competing with colors, but instead complementing them ever so well. 

TIP: nude toes look cute also!

After having a crazy fun-filled weekend with my girlfriends where we never stopped laughing, dancing, and drinking...I can honestly say I am completely exhausted (but in a good way). 

This is exactly what I feel like doing today...having a gigantic yummy smelling bubble bath and reading a good book. Doing absolutely nothing can sometimes be the most thrilling thing ever (and best cure for a weekend hangover). Period.

Weekend Getaway...

Well, it looks like we might be getting some actual "summer" weather this weekend which is great news! Hopefully you will all be able to get outside and enjoy some rays. I am heading up to Whistler with some girlfriends for a much needed catch-up and some good times! Whether you read a book that you've been too busy to get into lately, go for a run on the seawall, or go out for drinks with some friends, make sure that whatever it is you choose to do you

enjoy it.

Bangle it up!

To start off my first blog post, I thought I would begin with something I truly love...bangles! 

I can never get enough of the layering look...all different colors and sizes and shapes. 

The more the merrier is the way I look at it:) 

These photos are absolutely my favorite...each bangle ties in with their outfit exceptionally well. 

It's important to not clash with the colors you are wearing but instead always have a neutral base color like gold or silver.
