Lately, I've been drawn to simplistic pieces and accessories. Especially now when the warmer weather is setting in, layering is not as needed. This look below is the perfect example of creating a simple outfit without overdoing anything. The pop of color in the bag adds just the right touch and keeps the look from being too boring.

Dressing For Your Body Type.

It can be tricky to find styles that fit well and work with your body frame. Just because a certain trend is in style, doesn't mean that you personally have to wear it. What's even more stylish is creating your own look based off of that trend to suit your own body type. 

The iconic fashion designer, Tory Burch, is the epitomy of knowing what suits her particular body frame. Since she is petite, working in vertical stripes and tall (not to mention statement) wedges into her wardrobe not only flatters her figure, but elogates it as well.

These are definitely on my wish list for this summer. Every time the sun comes out I remind myself that I need a pair of these sultry cat eye shaped shades. They have an Audrey Hepburn-esque/old Hollywood feel to them mixed with a modern edge.

Every year I try to clean out my closet and throw away things that I haven't worn in that past year, or things I'm just plain tired of. I find Spring to be that perfect time to rejuvinate your wardrobe and freshen it up with some organization & some new trendy pieces.
